Eddie Jones (basketball)

Eddie Charles Jones (born the October 20th 1971 with Pompano Beach in Florida) is an American player of Basket-ball evolving/moving in the frankness NBA from the Mavericks of Dallas.

Biography

Jones played in NCAA with the Université Temple with the leader and future player NBA Aaron McKie. He was selected with the 10th rank of the Draft NBA 1994 by the Los Angeles Lakers. At the time of its season rookie, it carried out averages of 14,0 points and 2,05 interceptions per match in 64 meetings, including 58 like holder. At the time of the following intersaison, it was transferred to the Miami Heat where it evolved/moved during five front seasons to be included in a transfer to the Memphis Grizzlies against James Posey and Jason Williams the August 2nd 2005 in a record transfer implying five teams and thirteen players. It signed 18,5 points per match at the time of the Saison NBA 2002-2003, its best season with that in Miami. At the time of its last season with Heat (Season NBA 2004-2005, its mark average went down to 12,7 points per match.

Out of the parquet floors, Eddie Jones was one of the first players chosen to represent the Air Jordan, a subsidiary company Nike and to carry the " Jordan XI".

Eddie Jones currently appears in the 7th rank of the history of the league to the number of shootings at 3-points successful in career. The January 30th 2007, Jones was évoncé Memphis Grizzlies.

The 2007, Jones signed a minimum contract for the second time with the Miami Heat, saving time of play following the wound of Dwyane Wade.

At the end of the Season NBA 2006-2007, Eddie Jones became N agent free without restriction. Miami wanted to develop a young team and thus did not want of a 35 years old player for the following season.

The August 3rd 2007, Jones agreed for a two year old contract with the Dallas Mavericks. Jones would gain 1,83 million dollars at the time of the premi_re year of the contract. The August 6th 2007, the Dallas Mavericks signed the contract with Eddie Jones.
