The sector of manufacture is confined with a certain light industry, which is mainly implied by treating the basic commodities and the production of the consumer goods. A common hydroelectric project envisaged with the close Togo is designed to reduce the dependence of Benign to légard the imported energy most of the time of Ghana, which currently counts for a significant proportion of the imports from the country. The sector of service developed quickly, stimulated by economic liberalization and tax reform. The adhesion of the zone of CFA franc offers reasonable stability as well as the access to the French economic support. The Benign one sells its products mainly in France and, in more minor amount, with the Netherlands, the Korea, the Japan, and the India. France is the independent source of Benign for imports. The Benign one is also a member of the Western African economic community CEAO.In spite of its rapid growth, the economy of Benign remains always underdeveloped and a dependant on the agriculture of subsistence, the production of cotton, and the regional trade. The growth of the true output made the average of 5% since 1996, but a fast rise in the population has excentré much this growth on a basis per head. Inflation with the surplus dropped during the past. The activities of advertizing film and transport, composing most of the GDP, are vulnerable to the developments with the Nigeria, in particular the lack of fuel.
