Economy of Uganda
The economy of the Uganda is based on the Agriculture, in particular on the Café.
An unstable political situation and an erratic economic management did of them one of the least developed countries and one of poorest. Moreover, the country suffers to be wedged, which does not facilitate the foreign trade, it was also disturbed by the wars with repetition in the area of the big lakes. However, a significant growth was recorded since the year 2000, and some successes are to be noted: control inflation, rehabilitation of the infrastructure, raises exports and investments.
The country has an unquestionable potential: its grounds are fertile, and various natural resources are present but still unexploited, Cuivre and Cobalt at the head. Pétrole was located in 2006 in the Lac Albert, it is still too early to say if the reserves are significant.
