Economic commission and social for the Occidental Asia

The CESAO or Economic commission and social of the United Nations for the Occidental Asia is an organization depend on UNO. It was established in 1973 to encourage the economic cooperation between its Member States. It was called then Economic commission of the United Nations for the Occidental Asia, name which it kept until 1985. It is one of the five regional commissions of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC) and account returns to him directly. The Commission is composed of 13 Member States. It sits at Beirut with the Lebanon.
