Ecological reserve of theWhite one
The ecological reserve of Forest-the-White the is located at Mayo on banks of the Lac White the, from where the reserve draws its name. It is one of the rare ecological reserves where the visit is authorized with the general public.
The Forest the White one is one of the last primitive forests of the south of Quebec. The territory is covered mainly by a érablière with Hêtre S. With the hiking trails and of interpretation traverse the park. It is also possible to make there excursion in racket, as well as Ski touring the winter.
