Ecological reserve of Ristigouche

The ecological reserve of Ristigouche is located at 5 km in the south-east of the village of Saint-Andre-with-Restigouche. This reserve aims at the protection of a representative sample of the area of the Baie of Heats to which belonged the érabilière with yellow Bouleau and the fir plantation with yellow birch. The name of the reserve comes from the canton of the same name.
