Ecological reserve Tapani

The ecological Réserve Tapani protects the Tapani Island or the Island from Héron Bleu, located at the center of the lake Tapani, with Holy-Anne-of-Lake, a municipality which belongs to the regional Municipalité of county of Antoine-Labelle to the Quebec, located in the administrative area of the Laurentides, under-area of the High-Laurentides . Access by the road 309.

This reserve protects a black ash plantation whose age is 180 and 200 years. The name of Tapani, commun run in the area, would come from the name algonquin of the Watercress.
