Ecological reserve Louis-Ovide-Brunet

The ecological reserve Louis-Ovide-Brunet is located at 20 km in the south of Chambord. This territory protects from the ecosystems representative of the highlands of the lake Bouchette, that is to say the field of the fir plantation with white birch. The reserve bears the name of the abbot Louis-Ovide Brunet (1826 - 1876), one of the pioneers of botany to the Canada.
