Ecofascism

The ecofascism or ecototalitarism is a totalitarian form of Régime to preserve the Environnement.

The threats which the human activities make weigh on the planet Ground would be such as the Western people would be ready to follow dictators promising to preserve their lifestyle in exchange of their freedom, at the price of the aggravation of the planetary injustices and the notable liquidation on the one hand of the 6 billion human beings.

One understands by ecofascism (in particular according to the Finnish political economist J.P. Roos) the ideology of some radical guards of the environment who preach the complete abandonment of technologies in our companies as well as a reduction of the human population in order to save planet of the dangers which threaten it: Overpopulation and Pollution. It is about a radical alternative of " the major ecology " with aspects primitivists.

The ecofascism thus considered is not related at all to historical Fascism (National-socialisme etc) and does not share of them either the ambitions. Are regarded much here as " fascistes" the theories which respect neither the human life nor the democratic forms.

The “ecofascists” wish to achieve their goals by means of a dictatorship which would make it possible to reduce the terrestrial population by coercion, while its inhabitants remaining would ensure the continuity of the Humanité with average antiquated techniques (simple Agriculture, Chasse, Artisanat). Are also envisaged modes Malthusien S of birth control in order not to threaten the environment by an overpopulation. Most extreme position in favor of a genetic improvement of the human population which the Eugénisme would serve.
