Eclipse 500

The Eclipse 500 is a business aircraft to engines builds by Eclipse Aviation. He answers the new concept of the " microphone jet" businesses.

Its aerofoil has a negative arrow. Eight prototypes were built of which five take part in the tests in vol.

In May 2006, the tests are not finished and certification does not on a date envisaged yet.

In Nov. 2007 the American certificate was obtained, but the production being completely disordered very large doubts as for the financial survival of the company were born… (it appeared that good number of be-saying " orders" (orders) which certified the success of the plane and of program EA500 are pure imaginations…) moreover, at present, the avionics is always under development (several years of delay), the system of Of-icing is always absent (always of enormous delay), the windshield needs to be changed very often (design defect), the training of the pilots is a pious vow (lack of organization), etc… etc… etc… of this fact a possible certificate EASA is not even with the day order!
