Echenillor of Maurice
The echenillor of Maurice ( Coracina typica ) or campéphage of Maurice is locally called blackbird cook . It is one of Oiseau Corvidés (Sibley) endemic of the Mauritius, in the Indian Ocean. He is threatened today.
Distribution and habitat
He saw in the Canopée dense forests of the island, in particular in White Bassin or in the Natural reserve Stiff-Beautiful Shade.One estimated the population at approximately 200 couples in the Années 1970. The rarefaction occurred since would be due to the Déforestation and thus to the destruction of the habitat of the species.
