Eberhard VI of Wurtemberg , known as the “Young person”, was born in 1447, deceased in 1504.

He was count of Wurtemberg-Stuttgart of 1480 with 1495 under the name of Eberhard VI of Wurtemberg, then duke of Wurtemberg-Stutgart under the name of Eberhard Ier of Wurtemberg of 1495 with 1496, duke of Wurtemberg and count de Montbéliard of 1496 with 1498 under the name of Eberhard VIII .

Biography

He is wire of Louis Ier of Wurtemberg and Mathilde de Palatinat.

He married Elisabeth de Hohenzollern (girl of the margrave Albert de Brandebourg) (House of Hohenzollern).

He obtained from his brother Henri of Wurtemberg the county of Montbeliard and his dependences, under the terms of a concluded treaty with Riquewihr. He took possession of it, as well as duchy of Wurtemberg, with the death of his cousin Eberhard V of Wurtemberg “the Elder one”, in 1496. Judged " mauvais" prince by his comtemporains, it was reversed at the end of two years.
