East the Midlands Allied Close ( Emap Plc ), also called Emap is a British editor of press specialized in the press Magazine, the communication of company. The group has several sations of radio and chains of Télévision. The company, created in 1947 following the regrouping of several British editors, is with dimensions with the London Stock Exchange, the Stock Exchange of London.

In 2006, Emap Plc sold its French subsidiary company Emap Media with the Italian Arnoldo Mondadori Editore. The new structure was baptized Mondadori France.

Emap Plc is divided into four entities:

Emap To consume Media (magazines): edition of magazines general public (approximately 130 titles in the world);
Empa Communications: professional communication (200 events, magazines and conferences intended for the commercial sector in the world);
Radio operator Emap: exploitation of radio stations and television in the United Kingdom;
Emap Advertizing (publicity).
