East Granby is a city located in the Comté of Hartford, in the State of the Connecticut (the United States). According to the census of 2000, East Granby had a total population of 4.745 inhabitants.

According to the Office of the Census of the United States, surface of the east city of 45,5 km ², including 45,3 km ² of grounds and 0,2 km ² of water levels (either 0,46%).

According to the Census of 2000, there were 4.745 inhabitants, 1.848 households, and 1.354 families in the city. The Population density was of 104,8 hab/km ². There were 1.903 houses with a density of 42,0 maisons/km ². The ethnic decomposition of the population was: 95,60% white; 1,37% black; 0,13% Amerindian; 1,05% Asian S; 0,00% natives of the islands of the Peaceful ; 0,65% of the other races; 1,20% of two or more races. 1,52% of the population were Hispanique or Latino of any race.There were 1.848 households, of which 35,6% had children of less than 18 years, 62,8% were married couples , 7,5% had a woman who was isolated relative, and 26,7% were not-family households. 22,1% of the households were made up people alone and 8,1% 65 years people alone or more. The average household comprised 2,57 people and the average family had 3,04 people.
