East Ayrshire
The East Ayrshire ( Siorrachd Inbhir Air year Ear in Scottish Gaelic) is one of 32 administrative divisions of the Scotland.
District
East Ayrshire is frontier with the North Ayrshire, the Renfrewshire and the East Renfrewshire in north, the South Lanarkshire in the East, the Dumfries and Galloway in the south and finally the South Ayrshire in the west.This area was formed in 1996 starting from the districts of Kilmarnock and Loudoun and Cummock and Doon Valley .
Of a surface of 1.262 km ², East Ayrshire is the 14th administrative division of Scotland by its size and 16th by its population (119 720 inhabitants). Its capital is Kilmarnock
Two elected officials represent East Ayrshire with the Parliament of Great Britain, and two others with the Scottish Parlement. The party places from there in this area is the Workers party.
