East Africa

The East Africa is an area of the Africa. It generally indicates the countries of the Vallée of the great African rift.

Geography

It includes/understands the countries of the Corne of Africa

• the Érythrée
• the Ethiopia
• Djibouti
• the Somalia

Countries of the African Big lakes also forming part of the great rift.

• the Kenya
• the Uganda
• the Tanzania
• the Rwanda
• the Burundi

One can add there

• the Seychelles, the archipelago of the the Comoros, the Mascareignes which are sometimes regarded as belonging to the Indian Ocean,

The Rwanda and the Burundi which are at the border of two areas, and French-speaking people, are often attached to the central Africa.
