Earl Klugh

Earl Klugh is a guitarist of Jazz American born on September 16th, 1954 with Detroit in the Michigan. He says himself influenced more than all by the guitarist Country Chet Atkins, which invited to play on several of his albums (Earl returned the similar one to him on its album Magic In Your Eyes ). Even if he refuses to regard himself as a musician of Jazz, he were however one of the pioneers of this form of contemporary jazz mixing Jazz, R&B and pop that one calls commonly today Smooth jazz. It recorded besides albums in common with stars of the kind such as George Benson, Bob James or Hubert Laws. He was also member of Return to Forever, group of Jazz fusion whose leader is not other than Chick Corea. Extremely of its 13 nominations to the Grammy Awards and of its million run out discs, Earl Klugh is one of the artists of reference as regards Jazz Crossover, cash of the fans as well in the circles of amateurs of jazz as among the general public.
