ETSAB

ETSAB for Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona is one of the two schools of architecture which belong to the Polytechnic University of Catalonia ( Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya ), the second being the Escola Tècnica Superior d' Arquitectura del Vallès . It prepares under architect and delivers it. One also teaches there doctorates and programs of Master.

The school, founded in 1875 under the name of Provincial Escola of Arquitectura de Barcelona , is oldest of Catalonia. The current building took up duty in 1961, and is located on the Avenue Diagonal, with Number 649, in the Univérsitaire zone of Barcelona.

Many famous architects of it come, such as for example, Enric Miralles and Carme Pinós.
