The Sporting Entente Sétifienne is a club of Football Algérie N based with Sétif.
History
- 1958 : foundation of the club by Ali Benaouda, known as Ali Layass, under the name of the Sporting Agreement Sétifienne
- 1960: the club is famous Plastic Entente of Sétif
- 1977: the club is famous Sporting Entente Sétifienne
The ESS belongs to the prestigious Algerian clubs. The club indeed gained many cuts after independence, 6 on the whole. The agreement is also the only Algerian team to have gained the Afro-Asian cut in 1989 with the Qatar.
The first colors of the club are the green and the white, and following a searching of the French Army in a match vis-a-vis FC Gadir, the players were blamed for their behavior and after the May 8th, 1945, following the massacres of Sétif, the colors of the club changed with the black and white as a sign of “mourning”. The Stage Guessab be the first stage for the club, before the foundation of the club the May 8th 1945, until the May 3rd 1972.
in 1961 the Agreement meets with Tunis Mokhtar Arribi the father of the club in a final vis-a-vis the Futur Marsa Tunisian (the agreement gained match 2-1) the beautiful story begins until the death of this great man the September 4th 1989. For 49 years of its existence the club sétifien has known the succession of 19 presidents, first is Ibrahim Dokomi until Abdelhakim Serrar.
