Pierre Cohen is a Politician French, engineer of research in data processing to INRIA, born the March 20th 1950 with Bizerte (Tunisia). He is married and father of two children. He is militant socialist party since 1974.

He is re-elected Député for a third mandate in the 3rd district of the Haute-Garonne the June 17th 2007 vis-a-vis the candidate UMP Marie-Claire Danen. He belongs to the socialist group. He is vice-president of the Parliamentary office of evaluation of the scientific and technological choices and Member of the Commission of the economic affairs, the environment and the territory. He leads a list of the plain left (PS, PCF, MRC, PRG, Verts) for the municipal election of Toulouse in 2008.
