ESP-Disk

ESP-Disk is a Label discographic New Yorkean founded in 1966 by Bernard Stollman. Although the label at its origins was created to produce Musique in Esperanto, as of its second disc ( Spiritual Unity of Albert Ayler), it became the best window of than one names commonly the Free jazz. ESP also produced noncommercial recordings of independent Rock like The Fugs, The Godz and Pearls Before Swine. Although the label practically ceased the production of discs in the Années 1970, it however published some new works recently; there always currently exists and its catalog remains still almost entirely available.

Parmis the artists who recorded on this label one can announce Ornette Coleman (the " Town Concert" Hall;), Pharaoh Sanders (which left its first disc on ESP), Sun Ra, Ronnie Boykins Marion Brown, Sony Simmons, Paul Bley, Ran Blake, and Perry Robinson.
