ERASME (movement)

ERASME is a acronym for Évolution, Réforme, Avenir, Socialisme, Mouvement, Europe, which indicates a political group within MJS since the congress of Lamoura (December 2003). This group is recognized within the Movement of the Young Socialists like the " group jeune" nearest to François Holland . He is represented at the national level by Bérengère Delhomme and Pierre Jouvet .

Pierre Jouvet (National secretary of the MJS) is the national coordinator of ERASME.

To the congress of 2005 (Paris), they present a motion “For a future on the left, give again the hope” with the Gauche Socialist of Julien Dray, Justice and Utopia which gathers a little more than 12% of the votes.

In the congress of 2007 (St Médar in Jalles), group ERASME takes part in the single text presented by the majority of the Movement of the Young Socialists (Upright left).

This political group defends its attachment with European construction, with the principles of sustainable development and participative democracy. It federates the young people says “reformists of left” in a step of formation and exchange.
