EMB 312
EMB 312 Tucano is a military Plane of drive out of tandem and attack on the ground manufactured by Embraer with São Jose back Campos in the state of Sao Paulo, Brésil. Its military denomination is:

T 27 for the version of drive;
- AT 27 for the version of attack on the ground.
Its first flight took place in 1980 and the first deliveries starting from 1983. It is motorized by a turbine Pratt & Whitney PT6-A25C of 750 HP to the tree. Its principal characteristic is the elevated position of the instructor compared to the pupil and the handle of throttle linkage of the type HOTAS ( Hands one Throtle and Stick ).
The Brazilian air force ordered more than 133 units of this Brazilian best-seller. It also equips the patrol with stunt-flying " Esquadrilha da Fumaça ", equivalent of the Patrol of France.
Today there is more than 600 delivered planes
It was sold inter alia with: Argentinian: 30; Egypt: 134 + 10 manufactured under license of HELWAN; Honduras: 12; Iran: 25; Paraguay: 5; Peru: 30 (including 8 one resold in Angola); Venezuela: 31; Colombia: 14.
The French Air force has 80 of them based with Living room-of-Provence under the denomination of EMB-312F since 1993. They replaced the Fouga Magister for the training of the fighter pilots.
The prototype of the 312F had the characteristic to have the wings, as well as the driving air intake de-iced, of the equipment French avionics and a ventral air-brake.
The success of this plane was so large that the Great Britain chooses it to be manufactured under license by SHORTS with Belfast by adapting to it a Turbine Garret to the place of the turbine Pratt & Whitney as well as specific on-board equipment. 130 were built there.
This version was also sold with the Kenya (12) and with the Kuwait (16)
EMB-312H: This version was developed to take part in the contest of the air force of the United States (JPATS). It is characterized by a pushed motorization with 1.600 shp and of a fuselage lengthened as well as a modern avionics. It lost the contest vis-a-vis the Pilatus PC-9 TEXAN
Of this version was derived EMB-314 Super Tucano or ALX currently in production.
