EL-OF-Haus

The house EL-DE (in German: EL-WITH-Haus ) is old a Prison of the Gestapo, located in the Northern downtown area of Cologne, which became between 1935 and 1945 the incarnation of the terror of the Nazi regime. Kurt Lischka was the chief from January to June 1940. Name EL-DE comes to him from initial from the tradesman colonais Leopold Dahmen (L.D.).
