ED Tourriol

Edmond Tourriol is an author of Cartoon French born the January 15th 1974 with Talence in the Gironde (France).

It founded the associative studio Climax Comics in 1998 with its associate of the time, Olivier Dejeufosse. Within this collective, it publishes about fifty fanzines and writes several episodes of its series Reflex and Zero Force. Then, in 2001, it launches with Stephan Boschat a communications company: Clark System Innovation. It is this same year that he becomes translator of American Comics for the editions Semic. It will intervene on hundreds of Comic books of which Superman, Batman, Teen Titans, Invincible, Walking Dead. In 2003, it is with the turn of the Makma studio to be born. Under this banner, Tourriol and Boschat gather about thirty artists of all edges: scenario writers, draftsmen, colourists and lettreurs. They will work like people receiving benefits for many editors on the two sides of the Atlantic. In 2004, with Nicolas Duverneuil, it launches the Superpouvoir.com site which becomes a site of reference for all the amateurs of American comics and particularly the fans of superman.

Of needle and thread, Edmond Tourriol seizes the occasion to take again his career of scenario writer. On the drawings of Eckyo, he writes a series manga, Zeitnot published at the Humanoïdes Associés. With Stephan Boschat, it Co-writing the scenario of Mix-Man, a superman drawn by Sid at Milan Presses.
