EC. Red Bull Salzburg

EC. Red Bull Salzburg is a club of Hockey of Salzburg in Austria. It evolves/moves in the Championnat of Austria of hockey.

History

The club is created in 1977 under the name of HC Salzburg. In 1982, the HC Scharlachberg takes the continuation and ceases also its activities in 1986. In 1987, Salzburger EC. is created but is withdrawn in 1988. In 1990, EC. Salzburg is founded. In 2000, it is famous EC. Red Bull Salzburg. In 2002, it reaches the second national level, the Nationalliga which it gains in 2004 and is promoted in elite. It gained the national championship in 2007.
