Dynaudio

Dynaudio is a Danish mark of Haut-parleur S and speaker top-of-the-range. The company was founded in 1975 with Skanderborg with the Denmark by Wilfried Ehrenholz and Ejvind Skaaning (ex Scan-Speak).

At its beginnings, Dynaudio produced and marketed only loudspeakers. The production of speakers intervened only later. Today, Dynaudio concentrated on a complete range of enclosures to the traditional and modern lines, and gave up the distribution of the loudspeakers, except in the United Kingdom, by the means of its branch Dynaudio Acoustics , which manufactures enclosures of monitoring for studios, of very high-quality.

The speciality of Dynaudio is the Tweeter with dome fabric of a diameter of 28mm, that Skaaning developed in its time at Scan-Speak but which will be born only at Dynaudio.

To note the famous dome Esotar D330 and its many derivatives, all based on D28 left in 1975. Dynaudio also returned the “audible” Polypropylène by inventing the PHA, a material of which the structures are filled of Talc, with sonority much better than simple polypropylene.
