The dynasty of Vasa is a Swedish Dynastie and Polish of the area of Uppland. Vasa go down at the same time from the family Sture and the family Bonde, of the king de Suède Charles VIII.

The founder of this dynasty is Gustave I {{er}} Vasa which was regent of Sweden in 1521 then king in 1523. The descendants reigned to the king Charles XIII in 1818, date of the advent of the dynasty of the Bernadotte.

A grandson of Gustave I {{er}} Vasa became king de Pologne under the name of Sigismond III Vasa in 1587 and simultaneously king de Suède in 1592. With its death in 1632, one of its sons was elected king de Pologne under the name of Ladislas IV Vasa. Meanwhile his/her uncle became king de Suède under the name of Charles IX after having relieved it in 1604. The Swedish dynasty of Vasa finished when Jean II Casimir Vasa renonça definitively with the throne of Sweden.
