Dynasty of Bragance
Dynasty of Bragança ( Bragance ), which reigned on the Portugal until in 1910 and the Brésil since 1846 back grandparent of the Count of claiming Paris orleanist to the throne of France, family of Bragance goes down from Henri from Burgundy (1066 - 1112 which was Capétien), great-grandson of Robert II of France the Piles , which married Teresa of Castille-and-León, and is lived to allot the county of Portugal by his/her father-in-law; its descendant Pedro Ier of Portugal had a natural son João de Aviz, which became king de Portugal with the extinction of the legitimate branch.
A bastard son of Jean Ier d' Aviz, Alphonse had been provided with the duchy of Bragance and gave rise to a branch, which had several alliances with the Dynastie of Aviz (see table)
This one died out in 1580 and crowns it of Portugal attached to the other crowns of Habsbourg of Spain, after the invasion of the country by Philippe II (Philippe Ier of Portugal) but a strong national feeling rejected the Castilians which were seen like occupants. A descendant of Alphonse, Jean II Duke of Bragance organized in 1640 the revolt against Philippe III (Philippe IV of Spain) and went up on the throne. It founded IVe Portuguese dynasty or Dynastie of Bragance, still represented nowadays.
The current representative is Dom Duarte de Bragance born in 1945.

Family: Burgundy and of Bragance
The family De Bragance was regent of the empire of the Brésil and signed the Gold Law (Lei Áurea) abolishing slavery in Brazil (May 13rd, 1888).
In 1864, she married Gaston of Orleans, count of Have. By their marriage, they founded the House of Orleans-Bragance.
Isabelle de Bragance is the great-grandmother of current “the count de Paris” Henri of Orleans (1933-), claiming orleanist with the throne of France.
