Dynaste Neptune

The dynaste Neptune ( Dynastes Neptunus ) is characterized by a very dark color brown, even black brilliant, on the whole of the body. Contrary to the others dynastes, its élytres is thus of the same color as its thorax.
Another sign characteristic is a cephalic horn (" nasale") longer and more curved than at the others dynastes. Finally the 2 side horns are larger than at the other subspecies.

The male of the dynaste Neptune measures from 60 to 160 mm and reached even 190 Misters.

The female measures from 40 to 75 Misters.
