The Dyle (in Dutch Dijle ) is a Belgian river pertaining to the basin of the the Scheldt. It takes its source with Houtain-the-Valley, old commune of the entity of Genappe in the Province of Brabant-Walloon.
It passes in particular by Ottignies-Leuwen-the-New, Wavre, Leuwen and Malines before being thrown in the Rupel.
