Dye stick-Marie Morerod

Dye stick-Marie Morerod , born the April 16th 1956 with the Diablerets, is a Ski euse Suisse specialist in the Slalom. In 1972, at the 15 years age, it becomes Swiss champion in giant slalom.

In 1977, it gains the World cup of Alpine skiing. The July 22nd 1978, a serious traffic accident close to Vernayaz plunges it during three weeks in the Coma. With important traumatisms and fractures, it remains at the hospital during 6 months and must start a rehabilitation. Its career stops thus brutally during more than one year.

It returns in the circuit of the World cup during the season 1979/1980 without however managing to find its best level, it misses little the qualification for the Olympic Games at Lake Placid in 1980. It puts a term at its career in 1982.

She currently lives with Leysin and gives courses of ski.
