Dvaravati
Dvaravati is the name given to a civilization which developed VI {{E}} at the 11th century in the center of the Thailand.
It is after the destruction of the empire of the Insane-nan (in English, Funan ) that various kingdoms were established of which that of Dvaravati which extended in bay from Bangkok and the central plain. Its main cities were Nakhon Pathom, Lopburi and U Thong. It consisted of populations my, first people with Buddhist majority of the Indochinese Péninsule, which would have been converted with the Bouddhisme theravâda by Indian missionaries . The Dvaravati culture in Thailand is known primarily by Sculpture S. Few achitecturaux vestiges remain (vestiges of stupa with Nakhon Pathom). The disappearance of Dvaravati is always prone to many controversies, it would be located between 1050 and 1200 and would be due to a Burmese invasion or khmère. It is noted however that the kingdom of Dvaravati became vassal Khmer Empire as of the 10th century and that its civilization remained in Burma until the 15th century in the area of Pagan.
