Dutch Swing Band College
the " Dutch Swing Band" College; is a group of Jazz Dutch.
Biography
The group is composed of large tenors of the jazz and is directed by Peter Schilpoort until 1990. The composition of the group forever be fixed. It changes with the liking of the departures and the newcomers. In fact the composition of the group changes almost with each album or each concert.
At the beginning
The group at summer created on May 5th, 1945 the day of the release of the Netherlands of the 2nd world war.The composition was:

- Frans Vink (Piano, leader)
- Henny Frohwein (Double bass)
- Tony Nüsser (battery)
Even if at the beginning there were not a standard style, about 1946 the group with selected to play of the Dixieland. In the same year leadership of the group at summer entrusted to Peter Schilperoort whereas Frans Vink left the group. This one was replaced by Joop Schrier with the piano. Peter Schilperoort left the group in 1955 to go to work at the Avionneur Fokker as a Engineer. He was replaced with the direction of the group by the pianist Joop Schrier. Of amateur with Professionnel

Since 1990
Peter Schilpoort died in 1990. He until had directed the formation there for almost 40 years (of 1946 to 1990 with an absence of 1955 to 1960).
