Durolle
The Durolle is an affluent of the Dore that it joined downstream from Thiers.
Its tumultuous course made it possible to establish the wheels , mills being used for émouler (to sharpen) the blades of the manufactured knives with Thiers. With industrialization, Durolle with height of the city was exploited by many factories of cutlery.
