Durmenach has a castle, which was transformed into logements.The current hearth of Durmenach was formerly a synagog which, by twice, was devastated by the flames.
Its fame of older shopping mall of Haut-Sundgau remembers nowadays by its two annual fairs, radiating well beyond the limits of the department. Thus and 1964 carried out were created, by André Zundel, the Fair with the Hays, said HEIMART, being held 3rd Sunday of May. The same person imagined and realized in 1977 the Country Fair, known as Sundgauer Buramart, of food nature, which it 3rd Sunday of September also accommodates a crowd from 15 to 20.000 visteurs, charmed by her particularly convivial environment.
