Lajoie, slightly overheated by alcohol, tries to embrace it, she refuses and tries to push back it. In the fight which follows, it kills it accidentally. It organizes a setting in scene, so that the suspicions go on the foreign workers. Comments

The film was badly accommodated by some which retained only the caricatural aspect of the subject, but it was a great public success. It is true that Yves Boisset proposes to us a painting without kindness of ordinary people who, in a kind of collective hysteria, let themselves gain by the most primary Racisme. The demonstration is imparable. The realization was not done without difficulties: place of turning, intimidations, violences. The quality of the distribution is not for nothing in success film, Carmet as a killer, Lanoux goes-T from there war, of the actors generally sympathetic nerves precisely interpret odious characters. Marielle and Tornade is quite as representative of certain France of the Années 1970. To note the outstanding appearance of Isabelle Huppert, in the role of the victim of the café owner.
