Dungeon Keeper 2

Dungeon Keeper 2 is a play of strategy and management developed by Bullfrog and published by Electronic Arts on July 1st 1999. It is the continuation of the first Dungeon Keeper left in 1997 and created by Peter Molyneux.

Gameplay

Just as in the first shutter of the series, the player incarnates in this play with medieval environment the guard of a keep (in English, Dungeon keeper ) populated malefic creatures subjected to his orders. This keep is regularly attacked by valiant knights knights in search of glory who wish to conceal the treasures of them. It must thus ensure defense of it and has for that the possibility of recruiting new creatures and of manufacturing doors and traps which it lays out at the strategic places.

In parallel, the guard must also develop his keep what constitutes, moreover, the best way of defending it. For this purpose, it is necessary for him to grow rich by discovering new gold mines. It lays out for this purpose of small minor imps whom it sends to dig of multiple galleries neighborhood.

Thanks to this gold, the guard can install new rooms, recruit more powerful creatures and manufacture doors and traps increasingly more frightening. He must indeed be fine loan when the attack by surprised of the plundering knights occurs.

Creatures

In Dungeon Keeper 2 , many creatures elect residence in the keep of the player:
  • the Imp S : These creatures created by magic are the principal labor in the keeps.

  • the Goblin S : They are basic warriors. One finds them in all the keeps. Only, they are rather weak.
  • the Wizard S : These powerful magi spend their time studying in the libraries to discover new fates. Their faculty with launching fates is useful for the Master of the keep.
  • the fireflies : These small flying creatures are not good fighting, but excellent in the exploration of the galleries under-terraines.
  • the Troll S : They are good workmen in the workshops of the keeps. Their great dexterity gets the capacity to them to manufacture traps and doors, but also to defuse some. Cepandant, they are poor combatants.
  • the black elves : These exiled kingdoms elfic are endowed with a skill out of the commun run which make of them excellent printers with the crossbow which will defend your keep with zeal.
  • the Skeleton S : These death-alive is used as flesh-with-gun in the engagements. They do not fear anything and do not require any food and any rest; they will be thrown in the battle, even has against ten.
  • black main : These women vĂȘtues of leather take pleasure in the pain. They take taste to torture (the enemies like the allies) and do not fear to die in the combat. The engagements will turn quickly has your advantage if these violent ladies fight has your sides.
  • the salamander S : These kinds of large lizards particularly affectionnent the hot places and the baths of lava. They are good fighting and can cross immense lakes of lava.
  • the villains : The villains count in their row of the assassins, the brigands and other disasters characters. In fact beings underhand and unforeseeable will not hesitate has to steal your money.
  • the bilieux demons : They are monsters gloutons and cheap, but are particularly gifted in manual work and are excellent pillars during the battles.
  • the Vampire S : These almost immortal princes of the night have notable aptitudes with regard to the magic, sometimes able to raise armies of death-alive.
  • the black knights : These warriors chose to deviate from the virtuous ways to devote themselves to the Evil and to make run the blood of the good knights.
  • the black angels : These divine creatures fallen in disgrace are very powerful allies able to call upon legions of death-alive and endowed with a force surpuissante.
