Dunes of Flandres indicates the littoral French of the the North Sea which extends to the Northern North of the departments and Pas-de-Calais.

The major part of this coast is on the French Flanders, from where its name.

There exists an intercommunity association of the Dunes of Flandres which gathers 5 communes:

• Dunkirk

• Zuydcoote
• Leffrinckoucke
• Téteghem
• Bray-Dunes

This trade union is in charge of the tourist development of the Dunes of Flandres.
