Dunedin
Dunedin is a town of New Zealand located in the province of Otago on the east of the Île of the South. With 130.000 inhabitants, it is the second town of this island by the population.
She founded in 1848 by Scot, is directed by a Cargill Captain. The name of the city is the Scottish name in of Edinburgh, the capital of the Scotland (Dune of Eden) with which it is twinned besides.
Dunedin has a picturesque port, the Otago Harbor . It is also known for its penguins with the yellow eyes which strew the peninsula with Otago.
It is a very dynamic city because it abounds in students coming from Otago University, second University of the Island of the South, after that of Christchurch. Its center town comprises many stores and restaurants which skirt Georges Street, the principal artery of Dunedin. One can see there churches very impressed of the style victorien, such as Knox Church or further, First Church, larger but also older.
