Dunc McCallum
Duncan McCallum (born the March 29th 1940 with Flin Flon in the Manitoba with the Canada - deceased in 1983) was a professional player of Hockey in North America.
Career in club
It started to play hockey in 1960 professionally while playing in the international Ligue of hockey. It will pass in various leagues (Western Hockey League and American Ligue of hockey in particular) before really making to its beginnings in the National league of hockey with the first team of the Penguins de Pittsburgh in 1967 (it will have all the same to play in 1965-66 two matches under the colors of the Rangers of New York). In 1967, at the time of the expansion of the LNH, the Penguins de Pittsburgh choose as fifth choice Larry Jeffrey but finally exchange it with the Rangers of New York on June 6th against Paul Andrea, George Konik and McCallumThere will remain some time in the frankness from Penguins before turning over to play in the WHL then in the Worldwide association of hockey (for the Aeros of Houston then the Cougars of Chicago). It will miss all the season 1973-74 following a leg broken during a match of exhibition.
It puts an end to its career of player at the end of the season 1974-75.

Career of trainer
Following its career of player, McCallum becomes trainer in the WHL for the Wheat Kings de Brandon at the beginning of the season 1975-76. It will remain in item five seasons and will reach once (in 1979) the finale of the Coupe Memorial. Wheat Kings will lose the final against the Petes de Peterborough. The team will have also risen finally series of the WHL in 1976-77 but will lose 4 matches with 1 against the Bruins de New Westminster (future winners of the Cut Memorial).In homage to the career of McCallum, each year, the Trophée Dunc McCallum is given annually to the best trainer of the year.
