Duke of Buckingham
The titles of marquis and duke of Buckingham , called according to the town of Buckingham in the county of the Buckinghamshire in England, were created several times in peerages of England, Great Britain and the the United Kingdom. There also were counts de Buckingham.
The title of duke of Buckingham was associated giving: duke of Buckingham and Chandos and duke of Buckingham and Normanby .
The first creation (1444)
- 1444 - 1460 : Humphrey Stafford (1402 - 1460) ;
- 1460 - 1483 : Henry Stafford (1454 - 1483). Carried out for treason. Grandson of the precedent ;
- 1485 - 1521 : Edouard Stafford († 1521). Carried out for treason. Wire of the precedent.
