Duet

In a general way, a duet indicates a group Two element S - often, a group of two Nobody S. In Musique, the word can take on several directions.

Musical formation

A duet - or duet (in English) - is first of all a musical Ensemble composed of two Musicien S Soliste S or of two groups of musicians, i.e., two Pupitre S.

For example, a group of two Chanteur S forms a duet: “Stone and Charden”, “Sony and Expensive”, etc

Musical genre

A duet is also, a Musical genre, dedicated to this type of formation. It indicates a piece of music with two then left simultaneous, intended to be interpreted by two soloists, with or without accompaniment - the Italian word duetto is sometimes employed to indicate a small duet.
