Duesenberg

Duesenberg is the name of a Car manufacturer. The mark was rested by two brothers, Fred and Augie Duesenberg in 1913. It will have an excellent reputation in the sporting field in the years 1920. It will be repurchased by Errett Lobban Cord in 1926 following large financial problems.

This last will center the mark on the very top-of-the-range one.

Model J presented in 1928 to the living room of New York quickly will be adopted by the stars of Hollywood like Clark Gable or Gary Cooper.

Duesenberg SJ will be called the “Meteor Mormon” by beating the speed records on 24:00 with the average of 217.97 km/h on August 31st, 1935, follow-up of the speed records of the hour to 244,80 km/h on the track of Bonneville in the Utah.

Duesenberg will cease any production in 1937 following the bankruptcy of Cord.
