Synopsis
In France, for the Napoleonean period, two officers, Gabriel Féraud and Armand of Hubert, clash in duel. It is the beginning of a perpetual combat between the two men who will last as much as they will cross until the outcome…

The film has a real historical base, the Large army had well two officers who had agreed to fight in duel each time they would meet of which one was the general François Baker-sarlovèze. But the film adds some.As in all films of Ridley Scott, beautiful decorations and beautiful landscapes…
