Duck with mane

The Canard with mane ( Chenonetta jubata ) is strange a Canard originating in Australia. It measures between 41 and 51 cm. It presents a Net sexual dimorphism since the male is characterized by its brown head and its gray plumage while the female (and the young person) are brown with white marks.

This Anatidé is nourished mainly while grazing like the Oie S.

One meets this species close to the lakes and of the marshes, it needs trees to nest. The laying generally includes/understands between 8 and 12 eggs.
