Duchy of Urbin
The duchy of Urbin , small state Italy N, was located between the Romagna at North, the Marche of Ancône in the South, the Adriatique in the East and had for capital Urbin and other cities Pesaro, Sinigaglia, Fossombrone, Urbania, Gubbio, Pergola, Macerata and Fano.
Initially county in 1213, it was tiny room to the only town of Urbin, before increasing in XIVe century. Possession of Montefeltro, it was invaded by César Borgia in 1502, then passed to the hands Della Rovere in 1508, from Laurent de Médicis in 1516, from the pope Leon X, in 1519, returned in possession of Della Rovere in 1521, for finally being built-in with the Papal States in 1631.
