Dubthach Dóel Ulad
Dubthach Dóel Ulad , called the “dung-beetle of Ulster” in the Celtic Mythology Irish, is a “file” (druid) of the court of the king Conchobar Mac Nessa. Its nickname comes from its practice to sow the discord systematically and to utter insults free.
In the Cycle of Ulster , after Conchobar assassinated three wire of Usnech and the fine tragedy of Deirdre, it leaves the court with other Ulates warriors of foreground, of which Cormac Cond Longas, the oldest son of Conchobar and Fergus Mac Roeg. It takes refuge in Connaught at the court of the queen Medb and the king Ailill. It is involved in the “raid of the cows of Cooley” ( Táin Bó Cúailnge ) where it fights the army of Ulster, at the sides of the sovereigns of Connaught.
It is famous to have massacred all the young girls of Emain Macha.
