The Dublin City University (DCU) (in Irish Ollscoil Chathair Bhaile Átha Cliath ) is a Université Irish founded in 1980 and located at Dublin in the district of Glasnevin.

The DCU is a multidisciplinary university organized around four poles:

• economy with DCU Business School
• science and health with the faculty off science & health
• engineering and data processing with the faculty off engineering & computing
• letters and social sciences with the faculty off humanities & social sciences

In September 2002 was inaugurated on the campus of the DCU The Helix , a national artistic center gathering more the big room of concert of Ireland, a theater and a scene of theater.
