Dual Inline Memory Modulates
The DIMM or Dual Inline Memory Module is a format of bar Random access memory which was used on the computers following the format SIMM.
Its advantage was that it was not necessary any more to add bars per pair and of the same value. They could be added one by one.
Today the format Fully Buffered DIMM is used in Mac Pro and on several other mother charts PC.
